How strenuous will the retreats be?
Each retreat will be catered to your specific needs and how much you'd like to challenge yourself.
There is generally less hiking if you are on a base camp (car camping) retreat.
If you are on a backpacking retreat, expect to be hiking anywhere from 5 to 10 miles a day, anywhere from 2-4 hours a day of collective hiking.

Will I be ok if I don't have a regular yoga practice?
Absolutely! Again, we can do as much or as little yoga as you like, and Kate will gauge the style based on the practice that you do have. A retreat is the best thing you can do to submerge yourself into your practice!
If I'm an experienced practitioner, will I be challenged?
Kate's goal is to expand your practice and help you move outside of your comfort zone. She intends to challenge you while dialing in your alignment, pushing your lung capacity and helping you into asana's you may have never been in before. You have nothing to worry about.
